On Monday,
we went on a trip in the yellow bus. We drove through New York City and Brooklyn observing bridges and new ones being built. Major bridges we observed were the George Washington, Tappan Zee, and Verrazano Bridges. My understanding of bridges grew throughout this trip. It certainly complemented my prior knowledge of bridges.
Fun fact:These walls are built with special material for noise cancellation. Denizens on the opposite side of the highway are prone to the "noise" of speeding vehicles.
And the best part... I won an ice cream for guessing a number closest to the amount of major bridges we were bound to encounter on our journey!
P.S I never got the Ice Cream
