Golden Gate Bridge
My favorite bridge of all time would have to be the Golden Gate bridge. It's marvelous length just amazes me and demonstrates how strong a bridge could hold up weight. The bridge was opened in 1937. The whole construction cost for this project was $35 million. It is a three type bridge, a suspension bridge, truss bridge, and a truss arch bridge. The way the bridge is structured is to withstand a great amount of force for it's length. The bridge is considered as the biggest bridge in the world, it spans up to 1.7 miles. The bridge might not be modern but it truly is a strong bridge that can withstand any type of force.
